Answer: If your Landlord is South Wight Housing Association, Medina Housing Association or Isle of Wight Housing Association and it is the annual rent increase, you do not need to notify us as the Housing Association will send the details to us automatically. Your benefit will be assessed and you will be notified of the outcome. If your Landord is not a Housing Association you will need to put the rent increase in writing and provide proof of this to: Revenues and Benefits Service, Council Offices, Sandown, PO36 9EA The proof must show the date the rent increased, how much it has increased and the frequency of payments.
