How Do We Advertise
For contracts below the EU limits, opportunities to bid for Isle of Wight Council goods, work or services will be advertised in local newspapers and relevant trade journals or similar publications. Please also see

http://ted.europa.eu/ is an official gateway to EUR-OP, the Office for Official Publications of the European Communities, for the publication of tender notices in the Official Journal of the European Union (OJEU).
Dependent upon the total value of the contract, notices are published as follows:
All contracts between £10,001 and £75,000 must be advertised on the Council’s website, the supply2gov website and in at least one relevant industry publication.
Advertisements for contracts over £75,001 must be placed on the Council website, the supply route to government website and in at least one relevant industry publications.
Advertisements for contracts over £150,001 must be placed on the Council website, the supply route to government website and in at least two relevant industry publications. The advertising requirements of the EU procurement regulations may also be applicable.
There are additional advertising requirements that must be complied with for contracts over the EU thresholds e.g. Prior Indicative Notice, Contract Notice and Contract Award Notice.
