This exhibition looks at a few of the Island’s shipwrecks, revealing the stories of
tragedy, heroism and loss.

This exhibition presents the excellent photographs of Island photographer James
Dore (1854-1925).

The photographs cover a wide range of Island life, including farming, fishing, sport,
and the fire brigade. There are even photographs of an elephant in Sandown and
ice skaters on a frozen pond near Brading.
