Highways Development Control

The Highways Development Control section has a number of responsibilities within Engineering Services. These include:

Registration of addresses for new properties and change of house names for existing properties.

Providing highway information for property searches.

Giving highways observations and recommendations on planning applications and pre-application advice.

Overseeing the planning and construction of developments that when completed, may be maintained by the Council.
