This site has facilities for recycling:
- metals
- vehicle batteries
- garden waste
- furniture and other items for re-use
- fridges and freezers
- cardboard & paper
- glass bottles & jars
- used engine oil
- textiles
- gas bottles
- mobile phones
- books, videos, records & cd’s

Hand tools are also collected at this site, in conjunction with Cowes Rotary Club.

This site also accepts for disposal:
- bulky household waste items
- general household waste

Due to the small size of the site the following are not accepted:
- Tyres, asbestos and hazardous household waste.

You can purchase bags of compost made from the garden waste at this site for £2.50 per bag.

FACTS & FIGURES
! Last year, householders using this facility recycled:
608 tonnes of garden waste
134 tonnes of metal
112 tonnes of paper
!Last year, around 2300 tonnes of waste materials were received at this site, of which a fantastic 43% was recycled or reused thanks to the efforts of householders and the site staff.
