The Abbey of Our Lady of Quarr is a working monastery. It is home to a small group of Benedictine monks. Visitors are welcome to come and visit the Abbey Church and join the regular daily services. There is also a small Art Gallery on site with exhibitions that change on a regular basis, along with the Abbey Shop which sells literature, devotional items and gifts. You can also take some refreshments at the Tea &Farm Shop, which also sells a range of Island products. The ruins of the ancient Abbey of Quarr, dating from the 12th Century, are a short walk from the present abbey.
