This tiny 17th century town hall is only remaining evidence of the former importance of Newtown, a former Rotten Borough that once sent two Members to Parliament. Regular art exhibitions are held.

Open Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursday until 2pm - 5pm (last admission 4.45pm), from 18 March - 25 Oct plus Bank Holiday Mondays and Mondays in July & August 2012. 2013: 17th March - 24th October. Sun, Tues -Thurs 2pm-5pm. Sun-Thurs in July and Se
