Bembridge (Isle of Wight) – The Church – LL
Postcard sent 10 October 1906

Illustrations Collection Reference: Postcard Uncatalogued

Bembridge originally formed part of Brading, but became an ecclesiastical parish in its own right in 1827. At first a Chapel of Ease was used, but the building proved unsafe, and by 1847 a larger church was erected and dedicated to the Holy Trinity. In the early 20th Century, an additional chapel was consecrated in Lane End.
