Question: If I am concerned about the welfare of a child, should I contact the Area Child Protection Committee (ACPC)?

Answer: No. You need to contact the Referral & Assessment team at the Children’s Service Centre. Telephone (01983) 525790 Monday to Friday 8.30am – 5.00pm.

Outside office hours, at weekends and on public holidays contact the emergency duty team (01983) 821105 or the local Police 0845 045 4545
