REPORT OF THE CHIEF FIRE OFFICER

SUMMARY/PURPOSE

To update members on the progress of the 10 improvement areas identified in the Community Fire Safety Best Value Review Improvement Plan.

BACKGROUND

The Community Fire Safety Best Value Review was approved by the Executive at their meeting on 7 May 2002. The recommendations contained in the review were drawn together in an Improvement Plan. The outcomes to date are set out against the relevant sections of the Improvement Plan, which is attached as Appendix A.
