You are hereby summoned to attend a MEETING of the COUNCIL to be held on WEDNESDAY, 12 OCTOBER 2005 in the COUNCIL CHAMBER, COUNTY HALL, NEWPORT, ISLE OF WIGHT commencing at 6.00 pm for the transaction of the business set out in the agenda below.

1.                   To approve as a correct record and to sign the Minutes of the meeting of the Council held on 14 September 2005 (Paper A).

 

2.                   To receive any declarations of interest.

 

3.                   To deal with any questions from members of the public.

 

Questions may be asked without notice but to guarantee a full reply at the meeting, the question must be delivered in writing or by electronic mail to Committee Services no later than 5.00 pm on Monday, 10 October 2005.

 

4.                   Chairman’s report, official announcements, communications and correspondence for the Council.

 

5.                   MOTIONS SUBMITTED UNDER PROCEDURE RULE 11:

“THAT Full Council endorse the vision for Island Tourism set out in the Tourism Plan, to create a high quality, thriving, competitive and sustainable tourism industry, which generates wealth, promotes environmental quality, enriches the quality of life and brings enjoyment to visitors.
