Mrs M J Miller declared a personal interest in Minute 97 - Joe Daflo’s, 21-22 High Street, Newport (as the objector was known to her) - and was not present during the discussion and voting thereon.


Mr J Fleming declared a personal interest in Minutes 97 - Joe Daflo’s, 21-22 High Street, Newport (as he owned a premises nearby) - and remained present

Additional Representations:

A letter was read out from the applicant’s agent addressing issues that had been raised during a previous meeting.

Comments:

Legal advice was given regarding the Article 4 Direction in relation to statutory utilities.

Decision:

1.        Conditional planning permission, subject to the conditions set out in the Part II Register.

 

2.        Tree Preservation Order be made to preserve the trees along the Skinners Hill frontage of the site.

 

3.        Article 4 Direction be made to remove the temporary use of land within the ownership of the applicants as described in Class B of Part 4 and Class A of Part 5 of The Town & Country Planning (General Permitted Development) Order 1995.

 

4.        That a covering letter is sent with the decision notice to advise the applicants of the requirements and responsibilities to be addressed in relation to condition 6 imposed under the advice of English Nature.
