The Social Services Inspectorate (SSI) carried out an inspection of social care services for older people from the 18th to 28th June 2002.  The objective of this assessment was to evaluate:

·         The Isle of Wight’s social service implementation of national and local objectives relating to the social care needs of older people.

·         The quality of outcomes for service users and their carers.

This action plan is a checklist and plan for taking forward the SSI’s recommendations to the council.
