To confirm as a true record the Minutes of the meeting held on 29 June 2006 (Paper A).

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

To invite Members to declare any interest they might have in the matters on the agenda.

3. PUBLIC QUESTION TIME

Question may be asked without notice but to guarantee a full reply at the meeting such questions must be delivered in writing or by electronic mail to Committee Services no later than 4.00 pm on Tuesday, 19 September 2006. Each question must give the name and address of the questioner.

4. THE NEW STATUS OF THE AUDIT AND PERFORMANCE COMMITTEE

To discuss the proposed remit of the Committee.

5. INTERNAL AUDIT OUTCOMES REPORT

To receive a report from the Chief Internal Auditor. (Paper B)

6. AUDIT COMMISSION REPORT

To consider the Audit Commission’s report to those charged with governance (ISA 260). (Paper C to be tabled)

7. CPA INSPECTION REPORT ACTION PLAN – RISK MANAGEMENT

To receive a report on the CPA inspection report action plan with regard to Council’s Risk Management. (Paper D)

8. MEMBERS’ QUESTION TIME

A question must be submitted in writing or by electronic mail to Committee Services no later than 4.00 pm on Monday, 20 September 2006.
