about football, but also a few other sports
- Rob Childs writes two different
football series, both of which are fairly short, fast reads
- Michael Coleman also writes a series
of fairly short football stories
- Alan Gibbons' football stories are
longer, and good for older readers
- Terrance Blacker has a footballs
series for older readers, and also a great book called Transfers, where an
ordinary boy is turned into the perfect football hero. Only he can save his team
from relegation.
