Kelly. She also writes The Mystery Club series, for slightly older children
- The Famous Five, by Enid Blyton

- Malorie Blackman e.g. Hacker,

- Agent Z series by Mark Haddon. Well,
perhaps these should be in the "Funny" list, rather than "Adventure",
since they're hilarious. They're about a group of boys with a secret society
who set about solving mysteries.
Choose-your-own-adventure books
- Give Yourself Goosebumps is a series
by R.L Stine. It starts like a normal Goosebumps book, but you can decide how
the story turns out, by making decisions along the way
- Fighting Fantasy series by Steve
Jackson and Ian Livingstone. These are the original choose-your-own-adventure
books, and all are set in a world of heroes and dragons and monsters.
- Usborne Puzzle Adventures
Survive!
- Gary Paulsen has written a lot of
books about boys who end up stranded in the wilderness and have to survive
alone. Hatchet is the most popular of these.
- Survive! is a series by Jack Dillon
- Danger! is a series by Tony Bradman
