A new method of payment is now available when you receive
Housing Benefit from the Isle of Wight Council
Your Benefit payments can now be paid direct to your bank account by means of
BACS, which is well established and proven system operated by the Clearing
Banks through BACS Limited.
This means of payment removes the possibility of cheques being delayed or lost
in the post and you are saved the trouble of paying cheques into the bank.
Bank clearing time-lags are also eliminated, as cleared funds are available in
your bank account the same day that our account is debited.
If you wish to take advantage of this method of payment, please complete and
sign the form below and return it to the
Revenues Section, Council Offices, Broadway, Sandown, Isle of Wight PO36 9EA.
You will be notified of the date of the first payment through BACS and until
that time any benefit to which you are entitled will be paid by the current
method.
