Emergency Planning

The responsibility for the Isle of Wight's Emergency Planning lies with the Chief Fire Officer and the Emergency Management Team.

Emergency planning is the:

• Identification of potential risks
• Production and validation of plans
• Training of staff
• Provision of necessary communication systems

This ensures that the Council and Fire and Rescue Service, along with other responding organisations, respond to any crisis that may affect the community or environment.
