Service Description: This service provides confidential sexual health information, advice and support to young people. This services is delivered by staff, comprising of employees from the Isle of Wight Council, South Central Connexions and the Isle of Wight Primary Care Trust.

Question: What help is available for teenage parents?

Answer: There is a teenage pregnancy 'team' based at the local Connexions office (LINK) who can give advice and guidance on making decisions regarding the pregnancy.

The Teenage Preganancy Midwife will be able to advise on issues such as housing and income and will help and guide the young woman throughout her pregnancy. - Related Link
