Island HomeFinder Scheme


Service Description: To register for social housing on the Isle of Wight. The register is administered by the council and covers all the housing associations based upon the Isle of Wight. Housing associations are 'Registered Social Landlords' and not private landlords. All social housing properties advertised on the Island Homefinder Scheme are housing assocation properties as there is no council housing on the Isle of Wight.

Question: I have just been given Notice to Quit (NTQ) by my landlord what should I do?

Answer: You need to speak to one of our Housing Options Advisors. Please contact us on (01983) 823040 and we will complete an initial enquiry sheet, with details of your circumstances on your behalf and forward it to the Housing Options Team. Alternatively you can visit the office at 7 High Street Newport PO30 1SS between 08.30 and 5.00pm Monday to Thursday of 8.30am and 4.30pm Friday.
