School Admissions


Service Description: The School Admissions Service co-ordinates school admissions for the Isle of Wight. The Isle of Wight has 49 community, foundation, church aided and academy schools. There are: 41 primary schools (for pupils aged 4 to 11); 6 secondary schools (for pupils aged 11 to 19); 2 mixed-sex special schools (for pupils aged 4 to 11 and 11 upwards).

Question: What is the deadline for submission of Primary and Secondary School 2013 school admission application forms?

Answer: Secondary School applications - 4:30pm on 31 October 2012.
Primary School applications - 4:30pm on 15 January 2013.
All applications received after the stated date will be treated as a 'late application' and processed after on time applications are allocated.
