Adult, Community and Family Learning Service


Service Description: Providing learning programmes for adults in community settings in a range of subjects in order to support personal development, well being and community spirit. Family Learning programmes encourage families to learn together; to gain skills in helping support their children's learning and/or brush up their own skills in reading, writing and maths.

Question: How much will learning cost me?

Answer: Many courses cost under £50. If you are on benefits or a low income many opportunities are free and there are discount schemes if you are a pensioner. One day and short taster courses are an affordable way to try out new subjects and some programmes for example, Family Learning and Basic Skills to improve your Maths and English are free.
