SUMMARY/PURPOSE
To enable Members’ to scrutinise the
Service Action Plan for 2002 – 2005 (Attached as Appendix A).
BACKGROUND
The Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service have for some seven years provided a business plan for the work activities other than the normal day to day organisational, managerial and administrative work of the service. These activities are designed to improve the service to the public. This action plan incorporates last year’s on-going work with the plans short, medium and long term timescales. This year the Service Action Plan for Emergency Planning has also been attached.
FINANCIAL IMPLICATIONS
The work time involved is contained
within the allocated cash limited budget.
However, the following items may be subject to increased costs which
will be the subject of separate bids to Members’ for the appropriate budget
round whether capital or revenue:-
