To confirm the minutes of the meeting held on 20 April 2006

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

To invite Members to declare any interest they might have in the matters on the agenda.

3. PUBLIC QUESTION TIME

To enable a full reply to be given at the meeting, the question must be delivered in writing or by electronic mail to the Committee Administrator no later than 9.30 am on Tuesday, 16 May 2006. Each question must give the name and address of the questioner and relate to the items shown on the agenda. Questions may be asked at the meeting without prior notice but in these circumstances there is no guarantee that a fully reply will be given at the meeting.

4. WIGHTCARE ENQUIRY – SC06/06 – FORMAL EVIDENCE SESSION

To receive evidence from the Cabinet Member for Care, Health and Housing and the Interim Director of Adult and Community Services in connection with the Wightcare enquiry.

5. STRATEGIC PARTNERING – SC07/06 – UPDATE

To receive an update from the Leader of the Council on the PA Consulting business case.

6. SUPPORTING PEOPLE ENQUIRY – SC09/06

To consider the scoping document for the Supporting People enquiry (Paper B – to be tabled at meeting)

7. FORWARD PLAN

To review the Forward Plan for the period May 2006 to July 2006 and consider any items that may need to be added to the Scrutiny Committee’s work plan (Paper C)
