1. MINUTES

To agree the minutes of the meeting held on 22 August 2006

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

To invite Members to declare any interest they might have in the matters on the agenda.

3. PUBLIC QUESTION TIME

To enable a full reply to be given at the meeting, the question must be delivered in writing or by electronic mail to the Committee Administrator no later than 9.30 am on Tuesday, 12 September 2006. Each question must give the name and address of the questioner and relate to the items shown on the agenda. Questions may be asked at the meeting without prior notice but in these circumstances there is no guarantee that a fully reply will be given at the meeting.

4. VALUE FOR MONEY (VFM) TOURISM – BLUE PAPER

To be advised of the latest position from the Cabinet member for the Economy, the Customer, Communications, Leisure and Tourism (Paper B)

5. ENQUIRY INTO THE USE OF OUTSIDE CONSULTANTS BY THE ISLE OF WIGHT COUNCIL (SC10/06)

To formally receive the scoping document for the enquiry (Paper C) and consider evidence from the Cabinet member for Resources and Town/Parish Council Empowerment.

6. ENQUIRY INTO SUPPORTING PEOPLE PROGRAMME ON THE ISLE OF WIGHT (SC09/06)

To formally agree the scoping document for the enquiry (Paper D) and consider evidence from the Cabinet member for Island Health, Housing and Community Wellbeing.

7. ENQUIRY INTO LOSS OF HOUSING INVESTMENT GRANT FOR 2006/07 (SC16/06)

To formally agree the scoping document for the enquiry (Paper E) and consider evidence from the Cabinet member for Island Health, Housing and Community Wellbeing.

8. FORWARD PLAN

To review the Forward Plan and consider any items that may need to be added to the Scrutiny Committee’s work plan (Paper F)
