OUTLINE OF ENQUIRY

 

To clarify the range of issues into what constitutes good design in the built environment and how this can be achieved on the Island.

 

REASON FOR ENQUIRY

 

To ensure that there are strategies, plans and processes in place in order that any new development enhances the Island’s built environment and its carbon footprint is kept to a minimum.

 

PROPOSED OUTCOME/S

 

To create a better understanding of why design is important and what should constitute good, sustainable design for the Island.
