1. NOTES OF PREVIOUS MEETING (Paper A)

To agree the notes of evidence arising at the meeting held on 3 August 2005.

2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST

To invite Members to declare any interest they might have in the matters on the agenda.

3. SCHOOL IMPROVEMENT PROGRAMME C1/05

(a) To receive a briefing note on the provisional levels of attainment for 2005 from Mr K Simmonds, Principal Inspector and Head of Learning Effectiveness. Paper B to follow.

(b) To invite evidence on the role and responsibilities of School Governors in school improvement. The written comments submitted by Mr P Fuller of the Island Governors Association for the last meeting is attached as Paper C. Mr P Fuller of the Governors Association, together with Mr A Wake, Chairman of Nodehill Middle School, have been invited to attend for this item

4. SCHOOLS EXCLUSION CENTRE C3/05 (Paper D)

To consider a briefing paper on the enquiry on a Schools Exclusion Centre from Mr R Faulkner, Head of Pupil Services (SEN and Inclusion)
