Service Assessment Challenge Checklist

The attached checklist is intended to provide a guide for members in deciding which service areas might usefully be examined in more depth.

It can also provide a template for determining priorities between service options.

The scoring system is designed so that services which are most appropriate for further examination will score the highest percentage.

The checklist should be seen only as a guide to the sorts of questions that the scrutiny process should entail. No crude formula can replace the intricate task of balancing a wide range of complex issues, and scores should be seen simply as a broad direction indicator for future work.
