Consideration was given to the three items in the report of the Strategic Director of Environment Services.

THAT the applications be determined as detailed below :

 

The reasons for the resolutions made in accordance with Officer recommendation are given in the Planning report. Where resolutions are made contrary to Officer recommendation the reasons for doing so are contained in the minutes.

Details:

 The Copper Kettle, High Street, Seaview, Isle of Wight, PO34 5EU.

 Conversion of shop to form holiday flat.

Refusal (against officer recommendation)

Reasons:

Business was viewed as an integral part of the village and to allow the application would have a detrimental impact on the local community
