22.             MINUTES

 

RESOLVED :

 

THAT the Minutes of the meeting held on 22 June 2004 be confirmed subject to the following amendment to Minute 20 TCP22221/E Westridge Golf Centre

 

Comment to read – ‘The local Member spoke on this item; Members were concerned with the potential glare from proposed lighting on the area, and wanted to defer to see what possible solutions could be sought’

THAT the application be determined as detailed below :

 

The reasons for the resolutions made in accordance with Officer recommendation are given in the Planning report.  Where resolutions are made contrary to Officer recommendation the reasons for doing so are contained in the minutes.

Details:

Variation of condition no.2 on TCP/22638C to allow occupancy of one caravan for use as managers accommodation all year round

Whitefield (part of Whitefield Woods), Brading Road, Ryde

Comment:

Members felt that the accommodation should be restricted to be in use when the site was open, and restriction on who could occupy the caravan.  Members were also concerned re foul drainage on site.

 

Decision:

Conditional planning approval, subject to the conditions set out in the Part II Register

 

Conditions:

Conditions to be added in respect of foul drainage, restricted occupancy of the caravan to Manager/Owner or person employed in connection to the to the tourist activity, caravan to be occupied from 1 March to 31 Octobers, and caravan to be removed when use of site ceases
