RESOLVED :
THAT the Minutes of the meeting held on 8 November 2001 be confirmed.

50. PUBLIC QUESTION TIME

Mr T W Dickinson (Isle of Wight Society) asked a question in relation to the Harbour House, The Parade, Cowes (PQ46/01). A copy of the question and the reply is contained in the Public Question Register.

51. URGENT BUSINESS - TCP/10558R EXTENSION TO FACTORY; OUTLINE FOR RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT, KTP ENGINEERING AND LAND ON CORNER OF HEATHFIELD ROAD AND COLWELL ROAD, FRESHWATER

The Chairman agreed to an item of urgent business as a decision was required before the next meeting. Members were reminded that a report was on this proposal was due to be considered at the meeting on 6 November 2001 but was deferred because of additional information received from the applicant's agent shortly before the meeting. The information was now put before the Committee.
RESOLVED :
THAT approval with relevant conditions be given (planning obligation to ensure retention of remainder of applicant's site, including the new industrial floor space is retained in employment use).

Detached house with attached garage and formation of vehicular access from Mountfield Road (revised scheme), land adjacent 55 Clarence Road/corner of Mountfield Road, Wroxall Members requested a letter to be sent to the applicant and adjoining owner to express their hope that the matter would be solved by allowing the hedge to grow.

To accept the submitted details as compliance with condition 2 of TCP/2012P providing a 2 metre close boarded fence is installed along the northern boundary and that this is required as part of the details to be submitted in compliance with condition 4 (boundary fencing scheme) be accepted and the patio as built as development which is acceptable under the provisions of condition no. 5 of TCP/2012P be accepted.
