To consider the attached paper and to take the actions outlined below.
ACTION REQUIRED BY THE SELECT COMMITTEE
1. To decide whether a review of Transport should take place.
2. To agree that 3 Members will sit on a Task Group, which will
then, set the scope and help to drive the review forward. Those Members to be agreed at the Select
Committee away day on the 28th May.
BACKGROUND
Consultation
has been carried out with a range of transport providers, users and related
organisations, as well as IWC officers and Members, to identify the main
transport issues from various viewpoints.
A
paper will be put to the Task Group, outlining the results of the consultation.
