REASON FOR SELECT COMMITTEE CONSIDERATION

To consider the attached paper and to take the actions outlined below.

ACTION REQUIRED BY THE SELECT COMMITTEE

1. To decide whether a review of Transport should take place.

2. To agree that 3 Members will sit on a Task Group, which will then, set the scope and help to drive the review forward. Those Members to be agreed at the Select Committee away day on the 28^th May.

BACKGROUND

Consultation has been carried out with a range of transport providers, users and related organisations, as well as IWC officers and Members, to identify the main transport issues from various viewpoints.

A paper will be put to the Task Group, outlining the results of the consultation.
